UNC - UVA: Studs and Duds

Well, the first half of the game looked like this:

And the 2nd half looked something like this:So, let's just do some objective analysis instead and look at Bobby's stats since the last UVA game on Jan. 15.

In these last 7 games, Bobby has played 102 minutes and attempted only 15 shots. Of these, he has made 3. For those of you who don't keep a calculator handy, that's 20% from the field. To put this in perspective, that's about the same rate that onside kicks are recovered in the NFL. So by playing Bobby 102 minutes in 7 games, Carolina is basically praying for a last second miracle every possession that Bobby is in the game for.

That 3-15 includes 0-10 on 3-pointers (and 0-fer in his last 12 attempts from beyond the arc this season). Throw in a whopping 4 free throw attempts (and his unbelievable 50% conversion rate) and Bobby has lit the ACC up for a staggering 8 points in his last 102 minutes. If we were playing golf instead of basketball, Bobby would be going for a course record.

In case you were wondering, his nonscoring aspects of his game totally make up for everything. He has 11 boards in those 102 minutes, 10 assists, 5 turnovers, and 1 steal.
